These guides are focused on rare and collectable books. We hope to give you a basic understanding of booksellers terminology, an idea of the type of books you want to collect and once you've purchased the books these guides can tell you how to keep them in excellent condition.

Your collection could start with a book you remember from childhood, a favourite series perhaps or books by an author you particularly like. It may be possible to find limited or first edition copies of any one of these books and more. However, before you start your collection it may be wise to set a budget on how much you are prepared to pay for your rare books as they can often turn out to be very expensive items.
